About Twittertroll

A small, independent site with tools for two everyday jobs on X: finding things, and dealing with the people you'd rather not hear from.

What is Twittertroll?

Twittertroll is a free set of browser tools and guides for searching X (formerly Twitter) and handling trolls, bots and harassment.

The domain has been around since the early days of Twitter, when third-party search sites were how most people found anything on the service. In 2026 it was relaunched under new, independent management with a new purpose. It has no connection to earlier owners of the domain or to anything they published.

What's on the site?

How do the tools work?

They run entirely in your browser and never contact X on their own.

The tools build search queries and links. When you click one, your browser goes to x.com like any other link, and X's own terms and privacy policy apply there. We don't scrape X, use its API, ask for your X login or keep what you type. There are no analytics scripts or cookies on this site.

Who writes the guides?

The guides are written and maintained by the Twittertroll editors. X changes its settings and labels often, so each guide shows when it was last updated and links to X's Help Center for the official wording. If you spot something out of date, tell us.
